Apply now and seize the chance to grow!Responsibilities:Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, matching them with purchase orders and receiving documents.Review and verify expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines.Reconcile vendor statements, resolving discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.Prepare and process weekly, monthly, and ad hoc payments via check, ACH, and wire transfer.Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records, including vendor information and payment details.Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment-related issues courteously and professionally.Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including purchasing and receiving, to streamline processes and improve efficiency.Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to accounts payable.Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and assisting with inquiries as needed.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.Proven experience (2+ years) in accounts payable or related accounting functions.Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office, particularly Excel.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.Experience working in a multi-entity or multi-currency environment is a plus.Certification (e.g., Certified Accounts Payable Associate) is desirable but not required.Benefits:Weekly PayAfter 30 days: Health, Dental, Vision, GAP, Short Term Disability, Accident, Critical Illness and Life Insurance.Holiday Pay: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and ChristmasMilestone Bonus of 40 hours for every 1200 hours.Ascendo is a certified minority owned staffing firm, and we welcome and celebrate diversity.Ascendo is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, parental status, military service or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.CoralGablesAFTEMPby Jobble
